It follows the story of a troubled human boy named Eragon in his quest to overthrow the government of Alagaesia, with the help of elves, dwarves, and, most importantly, his dragon Saphira. This book is the third installment in his 'Inheritence' series, preceded by 'Eldest' and 'Eragon.'
